hi guys,

just had a lovely lady measure up my van for curtains and cushion covers, was wondering if anybody had any do's and dont's on types of materials to use?.....think I'm gonna go for marine grade stuff, tough as old boots yet soft and comfy (very close matching red like the front seats and door panels, with cream piping and buttons).....then reverse the colours for the curtains (cream curtains red tie backs) also gonna have the bottoms of the cushions done in vinyl.........and have black out material on the back of the curtains.......has anybody bothered with the vinyl and black out , or is this over kill,..... does anybody know of any downsides to this type of stuff????

she hasn't give me a price yet though, think its gonna hurt a tad

cheers kev

hello from across the water!

no advice, but i'd be interested in the price though and who it is.

hello,

not had price back yet, lady from porchester, fitted a carpet for her few weeks back, got chatting to her about my van and needing the curtains and cushions done at some time, and it turns out that's what she does in her spare time, has done a couple of vws, boats, caravans etc , massive workshop in her back garden, (funny thing fate sometimes)

I'll keep you posted mate
