What oil in the oil bath air filter?

I've cleaned up my oil bath air filter but am not sure what oil to use. I only want to put some oil in as a temp measure before I get a full service or overhaul done on the engine. The manual states SAE90 I think. I've got some 20w50 oil spare - would that be any good?
