I'm going to change the 4 split pint nuts on the steering coupling at the bottom of the steering column to nilock ones .As my bus is in the paint shop I can't check the size .Could someone tell me the size I need .I think it might be M6 ?

Just changed mine, they were M8. Change the bolts as well rather than reuse.

They measure 32mm so probably get m8x35, I wouldn't use stainless as its a lot weaker material, use grade 8.8. Assume your using zinc nyloc nuts also so there's the issue of dis similar materials too.

I copper slip every bolt and nut now also as I've had a few stuck and don't want that again lol
