I know you are all bored of me and my parts :roll: :D

Whats the best place, other than here, to check out part numbers?

Cheers lovely people :)

get yourself a version of ETKA which is VW's part system software.

OR

http://www.vagcat.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

but the site seems to be down.

Sadly the only and best way to do it is to get hold of a microfiche reader and OG set of the cats as even VW have started removing bits from ETKA that they dont do anymore so sometimes finding the part no's can be a mare.

VW Heritage uses vw part no's to make things easier too.

Thanks Alex :) I had looked at your search facility first :) very good it is too.... if you sell it ;) I need to identify the parts I have and EB members don't want to play guess the part anymore :roll: :lol:

I have an original VW Type 2 Parts book (1968 up with supplements to 73) - let me know what you need to know and I'll try my best to help. I work away a lot in the week but will be able to check it on Saturday. Andy

The early Bay parts book has been scanned here:

Late Bay parts are not on this - I have a VW microfiche reader plus assorted microfiches from back in the day with all the part numbers before parts started getting deleted. For this reason the ETKA CD roms are of limited use.
