Where to buy a alternator?

Hi Guys, where is the best place to buy a alternator and by that i mean for the best money and should i get on with a separate regulator?

Cheers Guys, to be honest the alternator is good as I stripped it and replaced the bearings, its the regulator that is fooked, but i do know if/where i could get the 'onboard' regulator for that one being a bit old? It's the metal plate one, the ones I have seen on the usual suspects sight look plastic and look like they don't fit?

Have a word with Peter Good. He knows his stuff and will be able to tell you if it's repairable and probably have the parts as well
