Hello guys,anyone know what glue can be used to fix a new jseal to my Danbury pop top :?

My curtain runner channel kept pulling the rubber seal out on the back lid.
Every time you either opened or closed it , it would pull it out.
I resorted to sticks like **** and that did not work.
Builder mate of mine recommended this stuff to me. 4 months later and the seal has not come out again.
