As it says :D doing this shirt thing and have an idea, but wanted to know who designed the bay :D
 
hahahaha.......no no I think your wrong, I want the head of the design team doofus :D I was gonna put this german guy with a small mistoch and he was painting and hugging animals :D
 
Ahh thats a difficult one

The guy who gets credit for the transporter concept is dutchman Ben Pon I cant find anything acrediting the bay :)

The along came mister Pon with his trusty notebook and started the Type 2 story, which eventually led to the early bay. I cant find anything in my books or online accrediting anyone with the bay......sorry! It may well be in a back copy of Volks world or such like.
 
I think mr pon is my man, do you have any big pics of him, or face shots in any of your books :D
 
dont want to blow my own trumpet but it was me! i invented the bay window a whole 9 years before i was born!

strange but true :wink:
 
I heard he did that little pull knob on the drivers seat that I have know idea what it does, maybe he could tell me
