Who designed the Bay Window

The guy who gets credit for the transporter concept is dutchman Ben Pon I cant find anything acrediting the bay

The along came mister Pon with his trusty notebook and started the Type 2 story, which eventually led to the early bay. I cant find anything in my books or online accrediting anyone with the bay......sorry! It may well be in a back copy of Volks world or such like.
