I've decided I'm going low, so that's the route I'm going to take.

Show me some pics and specs, and give me your opinions please

What a great read eh Ballbag, I was sure I was saving for a red 9 set up but starting to reconsider after reading threads on steering play.

It's a good method dude, but at £950 for spindles, plus everything else I'll need, I've changed my mind.

I'm going for a beam raise I think

Hand built by me 6" narrowed beam, adjusters, laser cut end plates with re angled shock mounts, Slamwerks dropped spindles, Slamwerks narrowed lower trailing arms & T2D slam shocks. Creative engineering adjustable spring plates lowered 2 splines and fitted with Bugpack coilovers.

Front chassis is notched but they need to be made bigger and front arches will be getting tubbed soon too. Apart from the rubbing the ride is superb, And with my big motor in the back it holds the road very well!

^^ love K@rlos's stance!

I looked into a K&L conversion last year for my 71, but after the cost of Brazilian disk dropped spindles (£950+ as you say) and also having to convert to late bay disks and calipers (more£) I decided to say with ball joint and keep my OG disk brakes. Mines not raised though, wagons west do a 1" raised ball join beam. If you look at squareweaves gallery he has fitted one to his bus.
