Wide Five 356 Style Chromies

I need to get a spare for our new van, does any one have any experience of riunning these? Are there any differences in the chrome qualites available, SSP list theres as sunny climate chrome but the ones fitted to our bitchi 69 van have been on a few years and look like new!?

Sunny climate is just that, tends to be a single chromium coating and will most deffinately show signs of wear pitting and rust within a very short period of time......try to avoid it mainly for show unless of course you are planning a move to a dessert environment.

If its going to be used as a spare, does it matter? hopefully you will never have to bolt it up so it can sit in the van looking pretty all its life.
