Morning everyone I’ve just put new oil and seals in my steering box on my 1971 bay as it’s never been off from new and when I’ve gone to refit it I have realised there are no splines in the coupling that clamps on to the top of steering box and looks like it’s never had them as the splines on the steering box are perfect and I can’t see any wear in the clamp is this normal??? it’s tightened up ok but now I’ve seen it I can’t un see it and I’m twitching
