Hi,

Before my bus (71 tintop) goes in for welding/painting I want to order up all the required window rubbers & door seals.

When I restored my 67 beetle (back in 1998) all the new window/door rubbers I bought were West Coast Metric as they were place to go to get the best quality.

With regards to buses, are West Coast Metric still regarded as the place for quality, or is there now an alternative brand?

What about genuine VW (though I guess they are expensive)? Are these Brazillian?

Thanks,

Mike

I've heard good things about west coast, VW heritage and Custom & Commercials (plenty of genuine parts) and Alan Schofield.

Have order bits from Alan Schofield (not fitted them yet).

Will keep you informed.

just check all the seals when you get them, the amount of times people dont and then find that the door seal is a foot too long or that they have 6 side window rubbers and no back window!
try and go for genuine or WCM, brazillian door rubbers are pants!
