Window rubbers question

Hi,

Ordered some window rubbers for my van at last from status vw.

They've arrived but i've noticed they are just whole window rubbers with no 1/4 opening section.

Is the 1/4 section a seperate peice of rubber or have i ordered the wrong rubbers?

do you mean you have 1/4 lights in the back windows of the van, if you do they are a seperate rubber..


you have the 1/4 light and a 3/4 piece of glass and seal

they wont mind taking them back as when you put an order in for the right ones theyll be rubbing there hands with glee....mucho££££

Did you order them for 3/4 length glass, you can tell.. full length has no or 4 rounded corners, 3/4 have 2 sharp 90 degree corners and the rubber for the opening quarter lights is sold seperate.
Fitting the rubbers for the opening quarters is also a **** of a job so allow extra time for swearing, bleeding and giving up and going for a cup of a tea :lol:

I didnt find any 3/4 or 1/4 rubbers on thier site so i mentioned it on the order form but still got the full length rubbers!

Calling them today!

If they screw it up you could try schofields. We've had those rubbers off them in the past.

I might have to anyway they dont have the 3/4 sections in deluxe in stock till the end of may!
