Wiring 12v socket.

I've bought a 3 way 12v/*** lighter socket and I want to wire it into the van.
How do I go about getting a feed from the fusebox?

I used the wiring diagram in my Haynes manual to find the main incomming power supply from the starter and noted which other fuses took a feed from this. One of these (think it was interior lights) had a spare connector terminal so I took my feed from this.

Its permanently live and on a fuse that isn´t hazardous if it blows. Thinks thats how I did it!...
