im going to put a new wood floor down in my camper and use 9mm ply, do you think this will be thick enough? or would mdf be better?

thanks

I haven't done mine yet, but I do know that ply is lighter than MDF, and generally doesn't turn to cardboard like MDF does!!

Marine ply (waterproof) is an option, but it's pricey!

;)

I used 9mm ply.

MDF will be like a sponge ....

always marine ply chap. MDF = plop

i was going out to buy some ply tomoro ,is 9mm ply not a bit exsesive?i was thinking 5 or 6mm

i took advice and went for 9mm marine ply... any thinner than that and wont really give you enough thickness to screw things into....
