Passed today.

The usual stuff needed for a van from the states.
Rear lights with seperate brake/indicater unit, front light lens converted to RHD and some rewiring to lights to convert to UK spec ie no indicator side lights and some adjustment to the steering.

Just pleased as you never know what to expect from a van that came from the states consideringthey don't have an MOT system.

can figure out my rears when it arrives, using reversing light as indicators like i did on my last one, but my fronts were already done

where did u get the fronts from and how much??

is it fully UK legal and on the road yet

so when are you coming over

Hi Ernie,

Been in the lakes all week but not in the van.
Not fully legal as need to go to the DVLA next week to get UK registration.
All paperwork sorted though.

I've written of the van really this year as stripped out the interior to replace the headling & wooden panels and do a few more little things.

I've got a set of deluxe trim on it's way from the states and giving it a lowering job as well as wax protecting etc.........

That reminds me I have to get the wax put into mine.
I have the same problem with my rear lights, the bloke before fitted new rear light units but never changed the wiring.

so the "leaving it as it is" quote has gone out of the window then

well we all make similar comments which are sound at that moment
next day knowing full ,,, well it was "cobblers"

watch this space
for a real Ernie type moment of madness ,
going into print quite soon
