I've tried a small area with Rubbing compund & polish! I'm pleasantly surprised at the result & today the polished bit is the only area of the pop-top repelling the rain! It may take a while & some elbow grease but think I may do it all. Cheers Guys Angela.

Just wondered if you needed to use a special kind of paint? Mine looks like it's never had any paint on it.

Hi I was just wondering if anyone had re-invented the Early bay acellerator pedal to cable linkage system? I have a 1971 and can put the pedal to the floor & still not get the throttle right open - there seems to be way to much slack in the existing system - so I'm open to your ideas on fix or...

I'm going - with Aircooled Unlimited -so there will be at leaat 3 early bays on our camping area. see you all soon....

Can anyone tell me why the coil would get hot? This is happening when the battery is connected but the engine is not running - have I got the wiring wrong?
