    Engine, Roofrack, Window and quarterlight

Couple of bits I've got taking up space so got to go; First up, a 1600tp engine. Not been used since being rebuilt by previous owner, just needs setting up. All parts there as far as I can see, and lots of the bits are new; £325 Roofrack, homemade jobbie, but does the job. Feet included...

Baj - pm'd you on VZi dude Brian - cool stuff, consider it yours. Hoosier - as far as I'm aware it's a good original, don't quote me on it til I've checked though. I'm not doing Action I'm afraid, and the only people I know who are own Ghias, so no chance they can take it. Maybe some people...

BJ1 you got PM. VWAddict, cheers for that. Came out of a bay being broken and I couldn't see anywhere for it to go - guess that's why.

    Random bits

Been moving things around and found a few early bay bits I've still got laying about, so here they are, cheap as chips! Removable rear valance, bit of grot on the back, but perfectly useable - £1 Washer bottles - £1 each Rubber mats, 1 for the walkthrough part, not sure about the other -...

Yeah, i know someone that's slammed a Commer, but it's a pain in the a$$. You need to flip the rear axle, notch the chassis, and cut a hole in the floor to give it a decent drop. The fronts are easy to lower though, and it's already got that 'narrowed beam' look. .

Nic's already been and signed up to the forum. As for the work, it's way less than Nic's bay was, so it should be pretty easy to sort.

Yes and no. I got two vehicles out of the money, and a couple of grand spare to play with. :D First up is the new camper which Nic chose - a 77 Dodge Commer; And for me, I went back to my first love, Type 3s, with this 66 Notch; No doubt knowing me though it won't be long before another...

Well, for the first time in as long as I can remember, there's not gonna be an earlybay in our household anymore. :( Just took a deposit on my panel van, so it should be off to pastures new next week. I also sold my Vespa just an hour before. So am I still welcome here?! We've got...

My mate used to own the Matrix bus. Full credit to the work that's gone into both vans, but neither are to my taste. I also remember the bloke with the green bus totally flipping out when the Matrix beat it at one show. Was totally hilarious.

Right, seeing as another van should be arriving at ours next week, unfortunately the bay has to go. So here's the gumf. The van came off the production line on 17th September 1969 (technincally making it a 1970 year model) and was exported to Italy. There it was bought by a couple who used it...
