We deal with several different powder coating company's at work, Most of them offer a coating that looks almost just like chrome. It requires a lot of buffing to keep up the shine though.

I agree, New heads should be enough to give your engine new life. Some new valves might just do the trick. It is possible your cam is going flat. More then likely this is not the case. Even new cam and lifters would be cheaper then a new Bus

I have run the Pertonix in my bus for some time. Its nice not having to set the dwell an more. If your point's are set correctly with a dwell of *50, Pertronix will not make your bus run any better.

Standard 1600 s/p and carb. I have a set of kadrons on single port manifolds waiting to go on though.

Just wanted to stop in and say hi. I just found this forum and I wanted to introduce my self. I have 2 69 Bus's 1 is a panel I just picked up. It will be on the road soon. The other one is a Microbus that I have been daily driving for a couple years now.
