99% sure this is a scam, the van was local to me and sold recently for a lot more and the description states they owned it since 2009 which is utter bollocks...
I know, pretty annoyed actually that i didn't check before hand.. Oh well another mistake to learn by in life.. I might give it a whirl at Chill n grill ten move it on
Picked up that awning today, very nice and exactly what i wanted but.. It turned out to be a RHD version...DOH!
Not sure whether to move it on or modifiy it
I'm hoping it goes well! This engine is going in my split but I think the one in my bay is going to need a rebuild soon so if it tuns out ok I'll have the same again :)
Postage killed it for us, we sold small diecast cars at a £3-10 a pop and last year/thisyear the postage pretty much doubled if not tripled and people adjusted their bids accordingly, bidding a lower amount so the over cost was still the same. So basically as a seller our profit was taken so it...
We stay a lot at Ayr campsite in St Ives lovely views of Porthmeor beach, really nice shower block and facilities. It is at the top of a hill but it still close to loads of great pub, restaurants, walks, beaches, surf and shops etc
Sorted it at last, took it to a local old skool gas fitter and he routed through his odds and ends and found a suitable fitting.. turns out it was left hand threaded too.. would have been a mission to find one :lol:
Anyway its all systems go :D
Camped at Henlow Bridge (North Hertfordshire/Bedford borders) this weekend nice site esp if you like fishing (not for me although I could see how you could get into it)
Very clean tidy site, allows pit fires and loads and loads of space for the kids to play, will return :-)
