thanks Doug thats just what I needed and thought. What are the plastic mouldings called and do you know where they can be bougyt as the previous owner kindly painted them on our bus with runs of white paint.
We have a 1972 crossover Devon Moonraker please would someone post close up photos of the latch end and the opposite end. Basically where the two cut outs in the door card are.

My 1972 crossover has Pertronix Ignition and as the previous owner had made such a birds nest of the wiring I have gone mad a chopped a load of rubbish out.
There are two wires, one red and the other black, where do they go ?

Mine looks exactlty the same as the photos posted by Johnny, with the exception that I am missing the off side bunk completely as some numpty replaced it with some crap shelf. If anyone has a spare I would be most interested in buying it.
We bought in error a rear tinware section part no. 042.121.10 from Machine 7, which we can't return as we had it powder coated silver so its very well painted.

I thought about the sharp edges so I have already fitted some edge protector. Good point about mentioning it in advance though I could do that when booking it in.
The MOT & tax runs out at the end of march, and the bus wont be finished but I could get it ready with just front seats and belts and no pop top roof, will that be a problem ?
When removing the engine from our 1972 Devon crossover I could see that there was some extraneous "leisure" wiring ! It is my plan to not bother with a leisure battery or lighting so wish to remove it all.
I have two batterys the smaller one is 45 AH and he larger 55 AH are they both suitable...
