Pertronix Ignition

My 1972 crossover has Pertronix Ignition and as the previous owner had made such a birds nest of the wiring I have gone mad a chopped a load of rubbish out.

There are two wires, one red and the other black, where do they go ?

To the positive & negative side of the coil - assuming the coil is wired up correctly.

Is Red + (Pos) and Black - (neg)

straight onto the coil, red pos, black neg. simple as that.

Have a look at this ad its got a coil wiring diagrame showing an electronic ignition setup the same at an igniter system.

Job done, wires connected and she starts.
