    PAnels

We are renovating a 1968 bay, some of the panels are ok you can bend them into shape. As for the early bay front dog legs, they are crap. We have been on to all the suppliers and they all come from the same manufacturer. Already sent back 2, one was 3" out at the step and they do not even follow...

    123 Distributor

Went for a 60 mile run with the distributor set on 0 curve, felt really smooth no flat spots and seemed to pull a bit better up hills :) . Has anyone tried the multi-spark-feature of number 2 curve.

    Bluebird Exhaust

I have had a Stainless Bluebird on my bay for seven years still in good order. :D

    Dellortos

Thanks for the replies. I will try the spin method, and take out the brass bits. I always fit the carbs afterwards, its not to bad to do once you have done it 7 or 8 times, apart from the back and knees, just the back manifold nut is hard to get to.

    Dellortos

Hi, has anybody put their engine back in with the dellotos fitted. I have mine out and measured things up and it looks very close not to sure weather they will go, do not want to do any damage to them. Thanks

    Fuel tank and breathers

Sounds good to me, just make sure its for fuel use. I had to fettle out the hole in the filler to get the clips through on mine but it was not a problem.

    Fuel tank and breathers

Yours looks the same as mine 1970/71, got my pipe from A H Scohfields bit pricey but you cant do with out it. You might be able to get a bit from a hydrolics pipe company. You want to try to get some with the same OD as the original as it is a tight fit to get it in the filler hole.

    Fuel tank and breathers

I had the same problem, it was the big filler pipe. If you smell the outside of the pipe you could smell petrol where it had became porous. It is over thirty years old now time for a new one.

Hi, you just undo the stainless clip nearest the tank then undo the three 10mm bolts filler cap and just pull it out with a bit of twisting.
