Check if the cover is not warped. Lay it on a flat surface and look for a gap. If there is one, get a piece of sand paper, lay down on the flat surface (preferably glass or granite) then sand the cover until it's flat. That should solve your problem. Abel

I would stop when the temp reaches 110deg C as if it reaches 120deg C the oil breaks down due to oxidation, looses it's lubricity and the engine will suffer🤤 Abel

Fuel pump or coil. When it dies, try pumping the gas pedal a few times then start. If it gives signs of starting then dies again, you know it's fuel problem, 99% that it's the fuel pump. Abel

Ozzie, first thing i would check is the springs :shock: If you have one of the mild performance 1641's from Heritage, chances are that you have HD springs to match the Engle 100 cam(these cams DO require those by the way). That can be too much pressure for the wavy springs of the stock...
