Thanks for all the comments Sean, The wire broke and ring connector dissolved into several corroded green parts, so am planning to cut wire back to fresh copper, and attach short piece of new wire to regain the length. I am not sure yet how to join the wires ? Maybe add a 40 amp fuse/holder...

Thumbs up from me too. The only tip I can offer is if you just need a small bleed, ie after changing a slave cylinder, don't put any fluid in the gunson bottle, then use as instructed. It will still force the fluid from bus reservoir into system (but won't replenish bus reservoir). It's a lot...
