To make it easier Ive recently had my 3k service and rolling road tune, full re wire, infact everything is brand new except for my starter motor, alternator and gearbox I have twin dells that are new/refurbished also. Guys someone beat me to it, I cleared it with 2cm to spare I reckon, although I took my measurements without my great weight in the front seat so that may have given me a cm of drop, lol

Something else I've considered Rob and may well do tbh, along with getting a load of tourist to jump in while I go under  I am going there today with a rake 1st as it's a sandy entrance and see how I get on. I will post a picture later of me stuck half way!!

Hi guys, hoping someone has the answer for me here. I was going to stay stock but I have just found out that I can't get to one of my favourite beach park ups because I'm a cm to high!! I have 15'' splitty rims, csp disks upfront and drums on the rear and stock suspension. Am I right in...

    AAC Wolfsburg steering wheel

Was eying those up to Si, and from what I've read only good things have been said about them. I like the fact that you can get custom engraving done as well on the horn press. I do quite like the Wolfsburg centre cap as well though.......I'm torn!! Would be good to see both in the flesh 1st hand.

    Iron x for body work

Yeah its more of patina preservation Mosely that I'm after. At some point in its future it will have a upside down, inside out full on strip down and straighten up. Being realistic I love the way it looks right now, and I want to preserve what I have for a good 5 years without getting any...

    Mater from San Lorenzo

Yeah its in the photo library you past on and the RAC guy put a sticker on it. Theres a battery thread going on now somewhere on here and mine is small in comparison to theres  Not sure if my 1776 needs more but its definitely going to be a lot tighter being new, sure this killed it.

    Mater from San Lorenzo

Rather frustratingly after the instal of my new engine, for the 1st dozen or so starts it would fire on 1st turn of the key. It wasn't long before a prolonged crank was required, I put it down to running in and a proper carb tune being required. So 2k miles later he goes for its final run in...

    Iron x for body work

Well my paint is O/G with a few areas that has rust spots appearing. They are only tiny spots and on areas where the paint has been compromised. I have a largish area of surface rust on the roof that's only visible when the roof is popped to. I know that the PO used to light tcut it and anchor...

    Iron x for body work

Just wondering if anyone uses this and wether or not it ok for 40year old paint? Until now I've alway used a light rub with t cut followed by collonite double coat. Also I'm using a rust converter on any bits where the paint has gone, that turns the rust area black, then followed by a wax. What...

Cool thanks for that info, didn't think it was on my patch :) What drew my attention to it is that it looks like a quality bass fishing spot. Can the beach be accessed, bearing in mind I'm not shy of going down cliff face goat paths?
