    What can you tow ?

I spent a lot of last summer dragging a Rapido Export (unladen 530Kg) plus two adults, three kids, bikes, all that clobber around and it was happy enough around 55 on the dual cabbageways. It's a SP with twin ICTs and flowed heads and pulled nicely. The beauty of those caravans is when they're...

    Canopy makers

Can anyone recommend someone or a company that can make a bespoke sun canopy? I'm after something I can use on the bus as well as the caravan... somehow... Cheers, Jim

Re: which is your favourite car???

I'd go with Shorty with the RS6 Estate as a daily and a '67 Fastback Mustang resto-mod (non Eleanor clone) as a second daily/plaything.

How can I be so lucky ????

I'm just glad that HSBC keeps alerting me to suspicious activity on my account, before I've even opened one! If that's not service, I don't know what is...

Does anyone here use there bay during winter?

As long as it's not in bits, I use mine whenever I can, all year round. The heater hasn't worked for a while (a combination of smelly fumes and the right hump with the heat exchanger fixings last time I put the engine back in) but a coat and hat and it's great... Used it a few years ago in the...

    Danbury interior for sale

Complete (I think) and Original (judging by the amount of chips, repairs and knocks). RHD, I guess for an EB. Originally from Midland EB, I bought it four years ago and only used the buddy seats. As far as I can tell, it's all there but fairly battered and had a hard life. Anyway, had no idea...

    Garage clearout

Finally managed to get to the back of the workshop and decided to have a clearout, so thought I'd pop this lot up here before facing the deluge of pain that is FleaBay... Sorry to be a pain but everything is collection only from near Bedford. Vintage suitcase I say vintage, it's definitely...

nothing to do with early bay but might still make you drool!

Those cakes look like the only lowering method I would need - a day or two in the same house and I'd take 3in out of the ride height on my own... Lovely looking site - classy and effective. My only comment would be the main intro text box on the home page may be a little too small for the...

    Winter storage

If you can, jack it up onto axle stands to remove the weight off the tyres - they can distort if they're stood for too long. If not, roll the bus forward and backward a few inches periodically so they don't sit in the same place for months. Best solution is remove them, pump to around 10psi...

    Heater switch on dash!!

I guess then if there's no empty hole, a PO slung the demist switch in to fill the space left by the EB switch, if indeed there was one there at some point.

    Heater switch on dash!!

You're more than welcome. You might also have a hole in the panel next to the tinware - this is where the heater exhaust exited and will need blanking off to stop warm aid entering/cold air escaping from the engine bay.

    Heater switch on dash!!

And I gather it was an option - m code on mine specifies as factory fit (Swedish bus originally)
