WTD - captive nut for TP case

I'm in Bedford but will be in 'Boro Thursday afternoon, Friday morning and Friday afternoon (extended school run), Thorpe Road, if that's any use? Whereabouts are you? I don't think I'm going to make it to Stamford Hall unfortunately. Jim

WTD - captive nut for TP case

It's the nut that's an interference fit into the top left crankcase to bellhousing hole on TP cases, as you're looking from the rear of the vehicle - the one behind the doghouse cooler housing. Here's a link to one that's N/A at the moment...

WTD - captive nut for TP case

I'm swapping to doghouse cooling on my 1600SP and can't find a captive nut for the crackcase for love nor money - anyone help me out with a shiny new one, rusty old one or a steer in the right direction? Tried all the usual suspects and all out of stock for at least 4 weeks... Thanks all, Jim

    WTD: Dog house cooling clobber

gvee - I think I've got some sorted but many thanks for digging those out and photographing them - sorry, should have let you know before you went to the effort. Toffo 24 - again, many thanks for the offer but for (probably anal) peace of mind, I'm going to go brand new on the cooler. But...

    WTD: Dog house cooling clobber

Looking at swapping from SP upright to doghouse cooling. From what I can gather, I'll need doghouse fan shroud, twin port fan, two bits of tin that go on the back of the fan shroud and the doghouse tinware that goes over the bellhousing. Oh, and the Hoover bit, I guess. Will be fitting new...

Clearout, inc roof rack to Action

Having a bit of a clearout. Everything is collect from Bedford or can take to VW Action if preferred. Roofrack No idea what this was for/from originally but it's on sliding brackets, so the width of the mounting is adjustable. On the max width, with new drop-down brackets, it fits a Bay rain...

    WTD: 38A dynamo

Slug/Glen, I think (think!) I've got one sorted but thanks very much for the shout - greatly appreciated. BJ - also thanks for the advice. I'll be swapping over the fan bits from my existing, as the need for a new one arises from a cheap, rubbish pulley trashing the woodruff key slot. The...

Looking for a working 2/H 38A (173mm long casing) dynamo, to get me on the road to Bug Jam - anyone help? Money waiting to fire across (and a beer or two at the next show) or swap/adjust for an incorrectly sourced (on my part) 30A version. Schoolboy errors abound... Thanks, Jim
