So I’ve never had one. I know it’s stupid. So I’ve now decided to sort it. I’ve put in a new switch. A new bulb. I’ve grounded the wire and nothing. So how do I run a fresh wire. I have belly pans fitted so I’m lost really.

Have a look at the above. Mine is different to this. my number 1 is at the 1 o’clock position on the dizzy as I remember. So go back to basics find TDC check your points are good or just get a electronic ignition fitted.

😁 spreader plates fitted I’ve got loctite but no washers. They were never fitted. So off to buy them next.

Just changed my cv boots. However when I took the damaged ones off (been on less than 2 years). The bolts were loose. I’ve nipped up the new ones but I’m scared to put to much pressure on as they seem very prone to round off. Firstly what are the correct torque settings I’ve read somewhere...

How old is the electronic ignition? Is the coil old? Plus how old are the HT leads any of those could be breaking down. The leak could be incidental.

This happened to me after a lay up. Ozzy told me to take it for a run. Not had any issues since I did that.
