The charcoal cannister is designed to filter out the fuel fumes/smell that you get when the temperature rises and the fuel expands. If you remove it, you will have a strong fuel smell. I've just actually purchased a used charcoal cannister to eliminate the overwhelming fuel smell in my garage...

ok... so I've driven over 200 miles with the Red 9 kit... I drove down the highway (at a lightening speed of 55mph)... there was about a 12 mph crosswind and I had many large (semi) trucks passing me during my 40 minute drive. I drove it all the way with one hand and I was not nervous at all...
