    Leaky sliding door

Yes, absolutely. Adjusting the top roller hasn't worked as its the rear end of the door that isn't sealing well enough but I have spent some time adjusting the rear latch and I have got it to pull in tighter now. Mark

Thanks, I'm sure I've messed around with this plenty of times in the past but should have looked before posting! I will give it a go, thanks for the replies.

    Leaky sliding door

Hi All, Ever since I restored my bus I have a bit of a leaky slider at the top edge. The rubbers were new German quality but it doesn't feel as though the top of the door is pushing on the rubber hard enough. The bottom sill was all replaced so I'm sure it's related to that, is there any advice...

We are going Portsmouth - Caen, I was going to take the overnight crossing but no cabins were available so am doing the morning crossing on Friday 3rd.We've booked through a company called 1st tickets who run a private campsite at Le Mans. I've been wanting to go for several years so am really...

    France West coast

Thanks for the replies, that's good to hear, a guy at work recommended Ile de Re so around there/La Rochelle was where I was aiming for. I've read in the past French campsites are good, does anyone have a recommendation on how I can work out the good from the not so good? We don't have kids and...

    France West coast

Hi All, I'm taking the Bus on it's first (in my ownership at least) trip abroad to Classic Le Mans in early July and then looking to go over to the French west coast for the following week so any recommendations on where to go/camp would be gratefully received. I've never camped in France and we...

Red 9 Twin wishbone coilover suspension

I echo Mr Brightsides comments. I went for a twin wishbone setup back in 2015 when finishing my resto. At the time there were problems with the Red9 supplied and made steering box that was a shocker, they replaced it with a far better quality item that I assume they all come with now and there...

    First attempt at Crossover Resto

I can't believe I haven't posted on this thread since 2015! Thankfully the old girl is still going strong and I've been trying to make sure she gets a run every few weeks and get some camping trips in the better weather. After moving house a couple of years ago and work going bezerk I've...

SOLD TMI front seat covers in grey

I'm changing my interior colour so I'm selling these TMI OG looking basketweave seat covers for an EB in Grey. I bought and fitted them a few years ago but due to the low mileage my bus does they look almost brand new. If it wasn't for where the metal tabs poke through them when fitting you...

    Interior flooring options

Cool thanks all. Originally I really wanted the whole Madmatz front end set but when I saw how the untrimmed edges go in time (around the pedals etc) it put me off. The cargo mat is fully edged though so that's good news. I have a Danbury so I can refit the furniture on top of the mat, I...

    Interior flooring options

    Interior flooring options

Hi all, I'm refreshing my interior and would like to go for carpet or sisal/jute in the back. Interested to know of any recommendations of where you can buy a suitable sized piece of carpet etc that's suitable for the back of the dub? Thanks Mags

    Window water woes [emoji22] [emoji97]

I've been there as well, after a full resto and new screen with German rubbers it was leaking, I found a windscreen repair place that claimed to specialise in classic and took it along to them. They ran black mastic all under the rubber between body and screen and it's fine ever since. This...
