Does anybody know what causes the engine to backfire, it only happens when going down a hill its fine otherwise. is this normal? im running a 1600cc with twin carbs, electronic ignition and a quiet pack exhaust.

Hi, im after a steering column top bearing for my 1968 van but i can't find one anywhere, I've looked on all the websites i can think of but all i can find is for 1974 onwards. Does anybody know where i can get one? Thanks Rob

I was wondering if anybody knows what the thread size is on the steering column, i need to buy a die to repair the thread. The damaged thread is the one for the steering wheel nut, its not the nut thats damaged but the actual column. The van is a 1968 if that helps or makes any difference
