Hi
I'm having trouble finding the correct handbrake cables for my 1968 van.

The problem is the handbrake cable conduit (the black piece) that goes from the van to the backing plate is too long on the new cables I have bought.

I've ordered 1967 - 68 cables and also cables for 68 and the conduit on both of them is longer then the old cable.
The conduit length on the old cable is approx. 35cm and on the two I've tried to fit the conduit is 49cm.

The overall length is roughly the same on all the cables.

Anyone help me on where I can get the correct handbrake cable from? anyone else had this problem?

Thanks in advance for any help

It depends on chassis breaks but all the info is in the above links,

Thanks for the links, hopefully I can sort out the correct handbrake cables now
