Well, having done some refurbing to the area housing the fuel tank of this 70 single cab, I'm now ready to sort out the locker area. Isn't it the back pressure that cuts off the flow of fuel? With dubs I find that it helps not to put the nozzle all the way in. I think you only need to replace the mentioned filler neck pipe if you have problems with it (perished or otherwise no good). All it is is a simple tube (petrol...

I might have read it wrong, but it does seem that way. Take a look at that blog and the later posts, as the guy designs his air intake etc. Might be useful to you.

I wouldn't let it go to the tip, as I'm sure it could be repaired by someone with the interest to do so. But, get back to me nearer the time and I may take that offer. Cheers, Rich

Hi Dave, I've got a set I picked up a couple of years ago, been a while since I looked at them but as I recall they are missing pump jets. I've never stripped them either so I'd imagine they are in need of a rebuild. Would need to take a look to see what venturis etc they have, but chances are...

Have you guys tried Custom and Commercial for locks and/or rebuilding your current ones?
