Gave the van's engine bay a bit of a clean last night and noticed some (what appeared to be) black soot spots, dry all over the engine bay. Had a blast out today and noticed the same this evening. Is this anything to worry about? Cheers

I have an original fuel cap with the embossed VW on my van - only trouble is when you fill her up she leaks! Any ideas on where I can get a replacement washer please? Cheers

Too much for me at the moment :( Booked in at the Herbie Hospital, Leeds who will take the engine out and do all the seals for me - :D :D :D

Just had a look underneath and it appears as though the oil is leaking from 2 of the 4 long 'things' adjacent to the rocker cover and not the cover itself - any ideas or is that a bit more serious? :cry:

Oil on off-side heat exchanger, possibly coming out of rocker head. Can I replace the seal without having to remove the engine? If so, is it an easy job? The most I've done is an oil change, (which I am very proud of!). Happy to give it a go unless you've to remove the engine :!: :!: :!:

I've got an Outwell Country Road - my second and it used to be superb! I know it rained in Cornwall this week but mine leaked at both ends where the top roof support sits in it's housing at both ends. Anyone else had this? Apart from returning the awning, does anyone know if it can be...

I've replaced the tailgate window rubber and there's a tiny patch of rough paint/metal on the bottom left hand side and I've had a trickle of water coming through into the van. Any thoughts on how to sort? Do I remove the seal/sand down/re-paint and replace the seal or would a lick of silicone...
