    New to this game!

I'll be honest folks, I think I'm leaning towards getting rid of the bus :( For the past few years I've driven nothing but boring runabouts and I love my cars too much to not get something a bit more fun. I've a lot of experience fixing older Hondas and I could quite easily get something cheap...

OLD THREAD REVIVAL ALERT! Thought I'd post an update seeing as it had been nearly 7 years :!: Unfortunately, there's not much to report  Long (but not very action packed) story short, the bus has been in Dan's parents barn since these pictures were taken, and basically the only thing...

I did think we'd done well getting all that, but hearing it from the experts makes me even happier :D Unknown 6, the seat belt mount, where does that go, between the 2 front seats? Oh, and I remembered while going through those pictures that there's a tray with various, what looked like...

Seeing as you love to see pics, I've just uploaded pictures of everything we took out of the van the day we got it up the road. http://s196.photobucket.com/albums/aa55/Tinohead/1972%20VW%20Camper%20Van/Parts/?start=all I've titled all of them with the name of the part, or what I think it is...

Cheers :D I'm just uploading all the pictures of the bits that were inside the van(will post a link soon). I noticed at the time that the replacement panel for the front is the later spec one, with the high indicators. What do you guys reckon, should I sell that on and get one the same as the...

Cool cheers. Yeah I read the chassis code is a good place to start so I'll check that the next time I'm up at the van. Some interior shots, probably not much use! And the colour of the side windows

Cheers! Will do :D Won't be for a while yet though because my mate who I'm restoring it with is away to work in Holland for 2 months, so it's safely tucked away in his steading until then!

Hi all! Having spent most of my motoring life as a Jap car man, I've recently moved into the ranks of camper van owner It was a completely unplanned move but when I saw the ad in the Integra forum 'VW Camper - free to a good home', I was sold (so to speak! ) Long story short a local guy had...

    My 71 Bay resto project

Awesome! I've just aquired a 1972 Bay that will need a similar amount of work and this thread is definitely inspiring! There won't be a lot of money available to go into the project, so seeing what can be done 'on the cheap' helps a lot :D Amazing build up mate, can't wait to see the finished...
