Yes, that's correct. When I restored my 72 I took them out to get them powder coated. First fitted that year.

Yes that's how they were. The rubber round the metal pieces that hold the hooks can wither away and rip might be why you've not got any, I cut a similar shape out of an old rubber mat and glued together to strengthen it, I don't think you can source the same rubber supports but might be wrong...

I put one of these three ways on for pressure light sender and separate gauge sender and temp sender. I’ll caveat with my bus being off the road at mo as I finish off resto, but keeps all senders in one place and not hanging off the sump. I've got SMiths guages btw, they look great. Sent...

My 72 crossover current beam needs lot of work so been on look out for a replacement. Seen this one, would appreciate views on if it look decent? No welding needed and off an imported bus. Not planning to lower but it’s got horseshoes if I did want to. Would appreciate an informed view...

Just had another look, I think there's a blank at the side of nose cone then, its got a hex bolt type hole in it, assume that's it?
