Dormobile Buddy seats

Hi everyone,

We decided to have a good sort out and tested out our buddy seats.
My wife fell straight through both of them

Looks like the bottom of the seat had some sort of rubber that was hooked on to stop all the padding and the person falling through.

Does anyone know if this is how it was originally (rubber pad underneath)?

I need to fix them so we can use the seats, any ideas?

Yes that's how they were. The rubber round the metal pieces that hold the hooks can wither away and rip might be why you've not got any, I cut a similar shape out of an old rubber mat and glued together to strengthen it, I don't think you can source the same rubber supports but might be wrong. you can buy rubber strips or upholstery strips maybe?

Yeah that looks like what ours should be like underneath.

We just had 3 tiny bit of rubber on there now.

That’s a good idea about the rubber mat and glueing together.
Will have a go at this.
