Coming out of a ‘74, but might be a good boost for an early bay wanting some more oomph!
It’s done 68,000 miles. 22,000 with me over the last 20 years.
Was originally Swedish, engine code AP.
Good compression, just tested by a classic VW mechanic (Kev at SGS Aircooled) - 150, 130, 130, 140. I can put you in touch if you want his independent opinion.
includes Weber 32/36 carb added in 2020. New exhaust in 2021. Starter motor. Plus all the other bits to make it run.
Only things not incl - 12v batt, support (moustache) bar, clutch disc.
It’s still in the bus at the moment so you can come and see it running although will be coming out soon. I’m near Newbury.
I’m new to Early bay.com, so that should send up red flags with expensive purchases! I realise that. I’ve been on late bay.com a bit longer and you can see chats there if it helps. But I’m happy to answer any questions or discuss price.
BTW - there’s a longer video than the short snippet the upload allowed. Ask me and I can point you to it on a Facebook ad.
