This could possibly be the second biggest sales mistake I've made in the last 10 years
putting the 67 up for sale :?
after realising I have too many cars & vans I am making a serious effort to get down to two
and start to fully appreciate my cars all over again.
I will be putting them all up for sale at some point over the next few weeks and sit back and see what happens , see what sells and what doesn't
after several long chats with a few VW and van experts they came up with a price for me on the 67 Devon , that figure being £15K which is what I shall start off by asking.
they all seem to think it is a realistic price even in this current climate , lets see
a few details
1967 VW Bay window Devon Tintop 2 berth
born on the 22 -09 - 1967 , left the factory 27 - 09 - 1967
registered in the UK on the 14 - 12 - 1967
I belive I am the 4th owner
just clocked up 76100 miles
MOT'd April 19th 2009 ( no advisories )
tax exempt , runs with a DEC '67 tax disc in the window for a bit of fun
excellent tyres
bodywork & paint quite superb but not concours ( but could be easily made to be )
underside is rock solid , has had a couple of minor repairs in the past, I do mean minor
the interior , well this is the main selling feature , needs to be seen to be fully appreciated
but a few pics will help you decide for yourselves
just had a photo shoot for Camper & Bus magazine , which is currently on hold at my request
well thats a few pics to be going on with
one question which I'm sure a few people will want to ask , is the price negotiable
yes of course it is , within reason
will I p / ex , NO ..................... unless it's a 8) Hot Rod then I might think about it
if you want any more details give me a call over the weekend
