Ok this is the last time I'm advertising my bus. I've had to many change of hearts in the past, I have a 65 split and a T5 in my collection and have decided to take a different path.

The bay is LHD American import which I bought from a guy on here who started work on it, it currently stands me at around £10,500 without the couple of hard to get parts I bought. I bought a rear bumper £200, a hard to get genuine deluxe grill and trim (stamped VW) and a set of genuine front indicator lenses. I've had all the bodywork that needed doing, done including gutters and lower 6", as well as cab floor.

I have very exacting standards and also own a 65 splitty, that was done by the same guy who's doing the bay. The splitty on its first outing attracted a lot of attention and was featured in a magazine article in February this year.

Now for the breakdown of the bus: it's currently all metalwork repaired and ready for paint, I have paid for the paint to be done in Neptune blue with white roof, that was its original colour. You are welcome to inspect the quality of metal repair prior to painting (subject to being convenient with restorer). Once done it will require all glass re fitting and electrics, deluxe trim replacing, door and window seals etc. the bus arrived with a 1500 engine, I have that although not tested. Gearbox is there.

Any questions just ask. I will listen to offers, but don't take the P#ss! Remember to buy and get this far it cost £10500. Its a may 68 and I have the customs import form. The interior is the original Microbus stuff.

Thanks Tony.

Try a sensible offer, I can only say no. Remember it's an early bus and just take a look at early splits! Earlybays are the next big thing.
