OK - Thought I'd list this on here just in case someone hasn't already seen this is for sale.

An extremely rare Left Hand Drive Westfalia Oslo SO69 conversion with the even rarer factory Dormobile pop up roof option (the best roof conversion you could get at the time, and still is!). It is COMPLETELY original except for a high quality exterior only repaint in 2010 in it's original colour of Savannah Beige. The interior is completely original, including the seat covers, Electrolux fridge, sink cooker etc etc. Everything is how it was when it left the dealership in Germany in May 1970, we know, as we even have a photo of it parked outside the dealer in 1970!!! Dora, as she is known, lived in Germany for two years and then disappeared across the pond to Oregon US of A

This van is in amazing straight original condition, no filler in the body and absolutely TOTALLY RUST FREE, never ever seen a welding torch.

This van drives brilliantly, has been totally reliable. The engine was replaced in the late eighties with a factory exchange engine, but it's only done about 30k since then. This van has a COMPLETE service history, with every bill, and even some snaps of it's life through the last 42 years on the road!

Featured in Volksworld Camper and Bus in October last year, this bus has provenance to die for, every extra you could order (back in 1970) and is a total time warp!

Equipment is as follows:

Westfalia Oslo SO69 interior with FULL WIDTH Rock'n'roll bed and buddy seat in original mustard vinyl.
Eberspacher Petrol Heater
Ambulance fans
Dormobile pop up roof with two bunks in original tartan fabric
Bulkhead model with three seats up front and spare wheel under seat
Emden radio - for show, not working at present (can't bring my self to drill a hole for the aerial...).
Sink
Two burner cooker
Cab divider curtains
Overhead storage cupboard, wardrobe and underseat cupboard.
Table
Electric hookup (US only!)

In 2010, it had a careful exterior refurbishment, including a VERY expensive repaint, reproduction Westy curtains in the original fabric, new door and window seals (Vewib) all round, new Continental Vanco tyres all round including spare, new indicators and Hella rear light units etc. We did not need to restore anything inside as the condition is nearly concours, the original paint is still like new inside and under the floormats. The original Westy wood headlining is still perfect. The engine and drivetrain have had a good going over, it's been serviced properly but the engine has not been rebuilt. All the brakes are recent and everything is as it should be (drums )

We have owned Dora for 3 years, and loved every minute of owning her, but the time has come to sell as I'm planning a new project and I'm keen to find a really good home for her

Priced at £21950 , not cheap, but perfection never is.......

Welcome to view, ask questions etc, email or call us on 01865 358368. We are based just outside of Oxford.

Needless to say, the bus will come with a new MOT!

Back up for sale. Have reduced the price to £19950. This van is awesome, totally reliable and needs to be seen to be believed.

Just back from a wet week in Devon, she's done 600 miles without missing a beat!
