Hello, it is time to sell daisy, a good, honest stock(ish) 1971 dormobile MOT to June, Tax exempt. £**SOLD**, based in stockport near manchester.
Daisy had a full proffesional restoration in 2002 and since then she has been kept nice and tidy, i have always tried to buy the best with any work that has been done (eg bellows, floor tiles, heavy duty leisure battery relay etc)
Stock 1971 - so front disk brakes, small rear lights, 1600 with oil bath, stock height.
the high points
New VEGE engine in 2010 (only done 500 miles since)- no oil leaks!, New alternator at the same time.
All work done by stef at Manchester Air Cooled.
New campershop pop top bellows (no mouldy stuff next to your kids)
New bed/seat fireresistant interior foam and covers.
Doors all round in very good condition (no rust, all new, or dry imports)
gas blown air heater (proffesionally installed)
alarm and immobiliser, one key all-round
leisure battery running internal lights, stereo, and heater.
hard wearing flooring tiles.
original cooker, sink, coolbox and camping interior.
solid underneath with original belly pans.
blasted and powder coated bumpers
same key all round (4 sets)
the low points (see photos):
a bit of bubbling above the front left wheel arch.
the font grill could do with tidying up.
tiny bit of blistering beloe windscreen, and near back hatch
bubbling rear right (battery corner)
little bit of blistering at bottom of long panel
other things that niggle:
the cupboard behind the passenger seat doesn't stay shut (new catch?)
i am not happy with the re-covered front seats, i would re-cover with better quality covers
rear lights surrounds rusty (only 2 years old  )
