Original, much coveted, complete, unmolested and solid. Imported to the UK from San Hose in California through Kieft En Klok in 2009 and been a much loved family camper since then.
Rare interior with sink and opposing wardrobe behind cab seats a shelf for a hob which folds out of the ward robe to make a practical kitchen. ¾ rock and roll bed with additional side wardrobe to the rear with L-shaped seating during day time. I have replaced the pop top canvas which houses a small fold up double bed to complement the overcab bunk bed. Both of which are the original campmobile fittings. The front seats have been rebuilt using TMI covers and new covers created for the rear seats.
The van is rock solid and genuinely free from rust except for some minor surface corrosion on the drivers floor area where brake fluid was spilled taking some of the paint off. The battery tray also has some minor corrosion.
The 1600 twinport engine is strong and in recent years has taken us to Switzerland and back without a single problem. The engine bay also houses the original Eberspacher BN4 heater (confirmed by the birth certificate I obtained from VW) although this had the petrol pipe disconnected when i bought the van and I have never got round to connecting it back up.
I have a ZIG unit fitted allowing split charging to a leisure battery and hook up to 24Ov site electrics. This has been done discreetly and reuses the original campmobile hook up with the ZIG unit mounted out of sight so could easily be removed if you were looking for absolute originality.
All round great van in awesome condition and will be much missed but my recent young family means i cant spend so much time tinkering with it so its mostly sat in the garage and needs to be enjoyed.

Thanks for looking.

(P.S>.For what ever reason I cant seem to upload photos but if anyone is interested drop me a line and i can message you some photos.)

Hi, I'm currently in the market for a bus and would like to see some photos of your bus, ideally inside and out, engine bay, underside, usual suspect areas of outriggers, jack points, wheel arches, foot wells and bottoms of doors

If you could send me a few pictures to [email protected] to give me an idea that would be great

Also, whereabouts in Northumberland are you located?

Regards

Mark
