As title suggests 1971 uk RHD dormobile 1600 2 owners from new £ 3250 ono
This bus has not been on the road for ten years it has been sitting in a garage for most of the time but has recently been sitting outside.It would make a great rat look ride as the paint on all panels is original.It needs some welding,battery tray,front floor area,rear of front dog legs,bottom of front panel behind bumper,bottom of sliding door,spare wheel well and its got 2 small holes in the roof about the size of a 5 pence piece. The chassis and underside are fine and the floor inside is good apart from a couple of areas. The bus had a stone chucked through the window some time ago and unfortunately the owner never had it repaired so the weather got in and its rusted through the wheel well and ruined the seats and upholstery. The roof lining is fine and just needs a goo clean. It needs a rear window and a window for the sliding door that I have ready to fit.All the seats are still there but will need recovering and the seat frames will need sanding re painting and new ply.The 1600 twin port engine starts first turn and runs sweet, it changes gear fine and breaks, but obviously needs work to get it roadworthy.I brought it to do it up myself but have decided to get a westy. Great project for someone.
