Very reluctant sale. I’m not using her as much now and she needs a new home.
Tax and MOT exempt. I’ve owned her since 2009 and have spent loads on the upkeep. Full Sea Blue over white respray in 2010 but the body work is now showing signs of surface/lower rusting and will need attention if you want a pristine van. Hand painted ‘tribal’ motifs on sides but easily removed. Low light front panels and rounded bumpers (early bay type). Slightly lowered for a better ride. Westfalia Continental cabinets, cool box, sink and working hob. Rock and Roll double bed. Hammock front seat bed. Original VW door panels and seats, tool kit and jack. Clean ‘bohemian looking’ interior. Ready for you to put your own personal stamp on.
Short engine and 1.7 big bore piston kit fitted in 2001. Now 1679cc. Always run on E5 petrol. Less than 15.000 miles driven since ownership. Very reliable and never broken down on me!
Well maintained by all owners and work done in the past includes:
Recent new glass and seals all round (2023)
Full engine removal and service in 2020 with new seals, gaskets, coil, pipes etc fitted
Recent new horn (2023)
Recent new Empi Quiet Pack muffler (2023)
Paris sliding sunroof fitted in 2013
Sound deadening material behind all panels and flooring
Replacement front floor panel, sills etc
New door handles and locks fitted this April
Electric plugs fitted with power lead
