The van (Percy) is a white Westfalia 1972 tintop bay and a Californian import. Left hand drive and rust free, no welding. Waxoyld underneath and professional respray on roof and bumpers. Original fitted westfalia interior with Rock n'roll bed, wardrobe, walk through cabin, fold down table coolbox and sink. stereo with CD/radio and Ipod dock, 2000cc engine reconditioned in 2008 by TES, new black out curtains and tiled floor, with original interior and upholstery. MOT'd til April 11 and tax exempt, starts first time and a lovely van. We have a full service history since we purchased and have all works recorded when he was imported by Coolair, they are excellent and have there own garage and company, you've probably seen their adverts in Volks World etc.

It features typical 1972 low front indicators with tall rear lights and flared wheel arches. It has side reflectors on each corner. The Early rounded bumpers feature American Spec Overiders and are in good condition. Two louvered Westfalia windows feature on the centre windows with an opening quarter light window on the Near Side Rear Window. All of the window rubbers are in a good condition. On the roof you will find a central sky light for air circulation which is in working order. This bus also features a heated rear window with an original style switch on the dash to operate. The tailgate features a VOLKSWAGEN SCRIPT also. Inside you will find a beautiful original interior with excellent upholstery throughout. It features a sink, cool-box, wardrobe, folding table, bed, carpet and a stereo with 4 speakers mounted in the rear. The beautiful wooden headliner is in beautiful condition with no visible marks. This bus also is fitted with rear seat belts on the bench seat. There is an electric hook up with terminals in both the cab area and the rear seating area. The engine is a 2008 recondition TES 2000cc model with a single 32/36 Weber carburetor conversion and an oil temperature gauge is fitted into the instrument panel.
Coolair imported the van at the end of January 2008. The Type 4 2.0l engine that was fitted in the van was ceased so they sent it to TES to strip down and recondition. As well as this they also replaced the following parts:
New Draglink, New Fixed Tierod, New Adjustable Tie Rod, New Front Brake Pads, New Front Brake Hoses, New Rear Brake Shoes, New Rear Brake Hoses, New Fuel Hose, New Fuel Filter, New Manifold Boots, New Fan Belt, New Bosch 009 Distributor, New Points, New Rotor Arm, New Distributor Cap, New Oil Cooler, New Condensor, New Headlamps, New Battery Tray, New horn, New Ball Joint Boots, New Steering Damper, New Clutch, New Oil Pressure Sender
