'Leela', an almost completely original 1972 ‘crossover’ Type 2 ‘Dormobile’ is now looking for a new home.
We simply don't use her for anything more than the occasional day trip... and as a spare bedroom at home (believe it or not!)
She is generally in very good condition, not 'show' standard but always turns heads when we're out!
Features and work done
• Road Tax Exempt with current MOT to 19th August 2015
• LPG gas conversion
• 1600 twin-port engine (new engine fitted in 2004)
• New sills, jacking points and new front disc brake (Late Bay) conversion recently fitted
• Sleeps four with double folding bed and original twin bunks still in excellent condition
• Undersealed from new and well looked after by her previous owners
• Original Dormobile interior
• Buddy seat fitted so can seat five

Faults & issues:
1. LPG retest is due 2015
2. Diesel Eberspacher heater requires attention
3. Dent at bottom rear corner of sliding door- I have a repair panel
4. Engine compartment 'lid' is corroded - I have a replacement lid
5. Oil temperature & ammeter gauges and clock require re-fitting (wiring already fitted)

Valuation of £7000 in 2011, and £11,000 in 2013. We would consider offers in the region of £12000.

Leela has been sold.
Her new owners who can give her (and themselves) a new lease of life!

It's been good knowing you, Leela. It was just a shame we couldn't get out more often!

Good Luck
