240v orignal US socket set up

Has anyone utilised the orignal US socket in the side of the van and converted it to take 240v, or alternatively made a lead that will convert the blue plug on the power lead to the original socket. I would presume you would then need something on the inside (another conversion plug).

Any help and pictures would be much appreciated.

Yes put an inline 110v to 240v appliance transformer, to run my fridge, use a domestic socket that is connected to the out side hook up to transformer is plugged in to the socked, so can run 110V to built in fridge and use the other plug with an RCD for 240V appliances.
