That is what my bus is doing on a 1641 with twin Dell'orto 34s and a quietpack, just cruising round Cornwall. I'm chuffed to bits with that. I've only tuned the carbs by ear. I'm going to rebuild them and get them rejetted next month, then have them set up properly. I'm aiming to bust the magic 30 mpg on a run.:D
 
Wow i only get about 20mpg on my 1641 with a standard carb :shock:
The guys at the garage said its set up fine
 
I think thats really good, my old split only did 28 mpg at a steady 50 on the m`way , and they`re 30cwt lighter . I dare`nt check mine at the mo , still got the dodgy Brazillian carb on. Good to here your on the road at last. :D 8)

Yeah, thanks. The reason I'm so amazed at that MPG, is because the carbs are by no means right on a motor that is hardly run in on mostly town driving. I'm keen to get the carbs right and take her on a long run.
