I have a supply of 3mm ply if anyone is interest, all it needs is varnish to become marine standard. I am told it is already water proofed.

Varnish wont make it marine standard, marine standard comes about from its manufacture in that the inner plys' are single veneers with no gaps....

Varvish will prevent moisture getting too the wood though.

the grain on the outer plys' will show wether it bends easiest without splitting on the length or breadth of the panel...

Agree with the above just bought some for headliner and split it putting it in - pissed me right off- now no use
TIP check which way it flexs as most builder merchants sell in 8 x 4 sheets and if its for headliner it bows the wrong way......
